Euro Trip - Part 7 - The Food

To say we ate our way around Europe would be an understatement.  We basically devoured anything we saw.  It was amazing!!! And the most exciting part is even with all the stuff I ate I only put on 2 kilos while we were away.  Yay me!!!  So here are some of the delicious things we ate.  These aren't all of them just the ones I remembered to get photos of....

There was more but like I said I forgot to take photos.  We had an amazing Irish breakfast in Dublin where I tried white and black pudding for the first time.  We also had an amazing breakfast of sausages and pretzels in Munich.  All in all we ate some mighty delicious food and I am still craving some things.  The hardest part though is having to come home and cook for myself again.  A month off cooking dinner  made me never want to cook dinner again!

Hmm, croque monsieur - one of my absolute favourites from France! And you can't beat pizza in Italy (or gelati or tortufo or pasta). And Yorkshire Puds with an English Sunday roast - perfect for soaking up that gravy - and did you have both mashed and roast potato?

Oh dear, now I'm hungry!!

This is quite a trip Kat! Europe is pretty great huh? I live less than an hour from London Stansted and almost as close to the Eurotunnel which gives us great access to the whole of Europe. You'vereminded me how lucky we are to have all thison our doorstep. I fell in love with Florence, although Rome is pretty much where it's at when it comes to history. Did you see the "Pope on a rope" stands around the Vatican & St Peter's?? Hilarious!

Haha i LOVE this!!!
food is one of the very best things about travelling! And i think it's never as good when you make them back home, the real thing is always more delicious. I love that pretzel (its HUGE!) and the desserts, like the choc buttons, tiramisu and macarons, look devine! Looks like an amazing culinary journey :D
