Euro Trip - Part 4 - Italy

I am going to keep the rest of these Euro Trip posts short and sweet.  They will be more photos than words.  So after Barca we flew to Italy and starting with Rome we had a whirlwind tour that included Florence and Venice as well.  We saw all the main sights in Rome including the Trevi Fountain, Vatican, St Paul's Basilica, The Spanish Steps, The Roman Forum and my favourite place of the whole entire trip The Colosseum.

Then we moved onto Florence where we saw Il Duomo and Ponte Vecchio and David. Not the real David. For some reason in Florence they have a fake David and a real David. We saw the fake and felt it was enough so didn't bother going to see the real one.

And lastly my second favourite place Venice!  I really enjoyed Venice although it is just a tiny little place that you can't do much in except shop and ride gondolas but I thought it was beautiful.

After Italy we headed off to Germany for a couple of days.  That's next in the series.  Stay tuned!
