Scavenger Hunt Sunday - Week 4

I have now been taking part in Scavenger Hunt Sunday for 1 month which I am pretty proud of.  I wasn't very good at taking photos this week because I was adjusting to my new job but I did manage to get some today for the challenge.  This weeks prompts were Shadows, Patterns/Repetition, Bright White, Strong & Warmth.



Shadows: I went the obvious route with this one and took a photo of my own shadow.  Very unimaginative but it does the job.

Patterns/Repetition: The repetition of the lines on spidey were the inspiration for this photo.  Spidey hangs above the stairs in my parents house.  Corey won him at the Ekka about 4 years ago and when we got home we hang it there to scare my parents when they got home and he has hung there ever since.

Bright White: The bright white of the noodle boxes jumped out at me in this photo especially against the contrast of the pink ribbon.

Strong: As soon as I saw this prompt I knew I would take a photo of my dads new weight set.  Obviously its not brand new.  It was given to him by a friend.  Dad has started working out and has cut sugar out of his diet and has lost 28kg.  Today he hit the 100kg mark! 

Warmth: Everything about knitting, crochet and yarn screams warmth to me.  My favourite thing to do in winter is snuggle up on the lounge with some yarn and knit.  This winter I will be able to crochet too since I just taught myself how to at the end of last year.
