Granny Square Cushion

Before

Last night I finished the last two rounds of my first granny square and this morning I turned it into a cushion.  All I used was a cushion that I have had for years and it is all faded, some yellow gingham from my stash, some buttons from my stash and some leftover wool from my Sunrise Blanket.

After

And then with a little bit of work I turned something old into something new!  And without spending any money at all as well.  There is nothing like a little stash busting to make you feel productive!  I have decided to add this to the Project Restyle pool over on flickr.  This is a project started by Elsie and Rachel to encourage people to start restyle items that aren't being used into brand new items.  There are some great creations in the pool so be sure to pop over and check it out for a dose of inspiration.
